For peak seasons and popular lodges, book as early as possible (6–12 months recommended). If you have flexible dates, we can often find great options with shorter lead times; but the best rooms and guided slots go fast.
Sample packages are ready-made suggestions to give you an idea of route and price. Tailor-made trips are built around your priorities (game-viewing, photography, golf dates, group makeup), transport preferences and budget; we’ll adjust accommodation, game reserves, activities and internal flights to suit you.
We take a deposit to confirm reservations; final balances are usually due 30–90 days before travel (timing depends on suppliers). Cancellation terms depend on each lodge, airline or partner; we’ll provide a clear payment & cancellation schedule with your quote. We always recommend travel insurance.
Visa and vaccination requirements differ by nationality and destination. We include up-to-date guidance with every itinerary but you’re responsible for obtaining visas and recommended vaccinations (yellow fever, malaria prophylaxis where relevant). Book or consult with us early so there’s time to secure any documents.
Yes — we strongly recommend insurance that covers cancellation, medical evacuation, and emergency medical care. Some suppliers require proof of insurance for certain activities or aircraft transfers.
Layered neutral clothing for game drives, a warm jacket for early mornings, sun protection, binoculars, camera gear (and consider insurance for equipment). For golf, pack smart golf attire and check luggage limits if internal flights are involved, some small aircraft have strict weight/size limits for clubs and bags. We’ll send a detailed packing list with your itinerary.
